We have a little catch up of "dancer of the week" from the last couple of weeks, some pictures of our Luttrellstown Castle performance. and a couple of pictures of our Cabe Cardio Ceili Adult class at our Irish Nights performance in the Belvedere Hotel. A little shout out to the girls below for being brilliant in class. They all won dancer of the week in their classes. Their focus and hard work in class does not go unnoticed and they are coming on so quickly because of it. So well done girls, you make us proud. These 2 little stars below performed at Luttlrellstown Castle and they were amazing. There was actually 3 of them so when I get a picture of our 3rd little performer I will post it here. Well done girls, you shone on stage, and and made us really proud. Please keep up the hard work, these little gigs are so much fun and we're so happy you got to experience them. We also have to the right, the new Fingal Mayor, Mags Murray. Below we have Mariam Elbadri, Miriam Lee and Aisling McCabe before their amazing performance at Powerscourt House and Gardens. Great job ladies!!! A beautiful picture of the gardens from Powerscourt House. I'd recommend everyone to go and visit this place.
Here is our weekly catch-up of our Dancer of the Week awards. All the students made great progress this week and we are really happy. Check out these pictures, they're so cute. Very first dancer of the week award in our Balally - Dundrum - Sandyford class goes to this little one. Really well done!!! Oh my goodness.... AGAIN!!! It takes a lot of hard work to win the trophy this many times. Up up and away.... massive improvements from this little one. She never loses focus in class. Even though we had no trophy, so we weren't going to do a dancer of the week, we couldn't help but give the award to this little one. She will definitely get to take the trophy home next week. First time for this little one - really great job! This little one has one of the best turn-outs we have ever seen. Lovely point there. This little one keeps getting better and better. Double-trouble. These girls made it so hard for us to pick a winner, we just had to give it to both.
We're a little late with these ones, but I have to say these girls were brilliant in their last classes.
On the left, this little star has obviously been working really hard at home as she's coming along so quickly. On the right, this little one was able to show the big girls how to do it last Friday at class. On the left the picture was taken in Castleknock Hotel (as the Parish Centre was unavailable). On the right the picture was taken in Our Lady's Parish Castleknock. Amazing progress from this little one. Really coming along so fast. And I couldn't help post this photo - a very funny photo-bomb. I didn't even see her going behind the banner then she appeared from nowhere :-) This little one really loves to dance, she practices at home every day and you can really see it by her progress in class :-)
Great work from these 2 little stars - They've both won it before, but it really is a testament to how hard they work, as they are taking huge leaps forward week by week. Well done girls, we couldn't be happier with you :-)
Must say - I love the new pose for trophy time today. She was just so happy after winning Dancer of the Week ;-)
So, we had enough students in our Saturday class in St. Mochta's Parish, to do the dancer of the week. And I have to say it was well deserved by this little one. Every time Aisling or I say anything at all, or give any instruction, she is always paying attention and always so focused. It is no wonder she is coming on as fast as she is. Some great Irish dancing. World Irish Dancing Champion, and good friend, James Breen popped in to say hello today. It was a flying visit and he had to leave a after a few minutes but thanks for taking the time for a quick photo. It was great for the students to meet a world champion and a principal dancer in Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance. Thanks James and have a safe trip back to London. :-)
